| I just installed the ZZP stage III heat exchanger the other day. I topped off my coolant and installed it and ran it for a couple of days. I've noticed that coolant temperature still hasn't gone down and the other day it even spiked to 205. It isn't leaking. Any ideas? | |

| I think you might have to re-tune for the HE | |

| Alright thanks man. ZZP says that 175-210 is normal temps but before the HE was installed the highest I ever went was 192. I'll re-tune once I get my dual pass and the rest of my stage III on. | |

| The water temp display in the digital info display? Thats simply the engines water temp. Your temps probably went up because the Sage III HE is in front of the radiator, preheating the air before the radiator. The intercooler system is completely separate and to my knowledge the only way to tell what temp the intercooler water temp is is to have a separate aftermarket sensor put in or to just see what you IAT2 is. But The IAT2 (Intake air temperature 2=after intercooler) is just what the air temp going into your combustion chamber is after they have been cooled by the intercooler. You shouldnt need to retune just for a larger intercooler. Tho because you have one it probably means you are running with cooler IAT2 and can run more timing, so a tune will likely give you a little more power. Best to just wait till you have your full stage III kit ready to go.
Could also be the thermostat. | |

| I have a water temp gauge that I havent installed yet. I could maybe hook it up to my HE and see the temp difference after that. Thanks for the info though man, you've been quite helpful. | |
